Premature Ejaculation is easily one of the most common sexual dysfunctions that affect men — practically every man experiences it at least once in their lives.
But it seems like there’s no clear-cut solution to the problem, right? This is because so many different things can cause it, from a poor diet with no supplementation, to hormonal problems and psychological issues such as anxiety and stress.
The following have been submitted to me from other successful Sexual Rebooters:
Prematurely Ejaculating is a bad habit
Now the reason I refer to this as a bad habit is because I came to the conclusion that, although over-masturbation had stressed my system and led to this, premature ejaculation was also the result of my own poor habits. I’ll try to explain what I mean.
I used to masturbate several times a day, every single day, and most of the time I wouldn’t even be trying to last long, I would just be working towards the climax. As time went on and my erections became more difficult to achieve I would have to tense the BC muscles constantly to maintain it.
I believe doing this regularly conditioned myself on a subconscious level, leading to premature ejaculation, which was worsened by my fatigued state. In addition, tensing and relaxing the BC muscles encourages pre-cum, and if pre-cum travels back down the urethra it can irritate the prostate and cause ejaculation.
To help combat this I practiced something called Edging, which is where you masturbate, but just with your finger tips and thumb on the shaft, instead of your hand wrapped around, whilst never going over the fraenulum (which is a trigger point).
It encourages much better blood flow, as the glans becomes fully engorged, but more importantly it’s easier to last much longer. Consequently, I was able to allow myself to get used to experiencing masturbation over a prolonged period and got used to recognizing when the BC muscle was tensing up (which happens just before you ejaculate.) and then be able to relax it.
I no longer experience premature ejaculation, which I believe is down to improving control and reconditioning myself, as well as the improvements in my lifestyle. I last longer than I ever have before. – Morgan
For Premature Ejaculation I used the the following technique
Sex therapists recommend a few straightforward techniques to prevent or delay ejaculation. You can practice these on your own or with your partner:
Take a deep breath as you feel your climax approaching. This will briefly switch off the ejaculation reflex.
The squeeze technique involves squeezing below the tip of your penis when the climax is imminent for 10 to 20 seconds.
It helps to think about something boring at the same time to take your mind off more exciting things.
During foreplay or intercourse, stopping and starting sexual stimulation helps to lengthen the time taken to reach climax, and can be combined with the squeeze technique.
If you keep practicing and stay relaxed, you should find that the problem disappears.
I hope this helps you guys i have been doing this for the last three weeks and I have felt a significant improvement in both my erections and premature ejaculations. Seriously, my ejaculation time has risen from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and I think i can keep on getting better if I keep on practicing these exercises.
Premature Ejaculation and Magnesium
Full source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11204619
Although magnesium is involved in many biological process and it is found higher levels in semen than serum, its role in human semen has not been elucidated. This investigation was conducted to evaluate the relationship between premature ejaculation and the levels of seminal magnesium. The levels of magnesium, zinc, copper, and selenium were evaluated with an atomic absorption spectrophotometer in serum and seminal plasma in 3 groups of men: (a) normal sperm parameters (15) (b) oligoasthenozoospermia (15), and genuine premature ejaculation (9). There were normal serum and semen levels of all the elements in the three groups, but significantly lower seminal plasma magnesium levels in men with premature ejaculation. The hormonal profile, body mass index (BMI) had no association with premature ejaculation. Decreased levels of magnesium gives rise to vasoconstriction from increased thromboxane level, increased endothelial intracellular Ca2+, and decreased nitric oxide. This may lead to premature emission and ejaculation processes. Magnesium is probably involved in semen transport. More research into the role of magnesium in the male physiology of reproductive tract, especially its association with premature ejaculation, is advocated.
My solution to crippling PE brought on by over-masturbation
Hi everyone, I’ve been a lurker for a while now. This is a really great little place I’ve stumbled upon, I’ve known of Dr Lin’s ramblings on his joke of a website but couldn’t make much sense of it. I am a little clearer on what I have to do but not 100% on the science behind it. I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have some sticky’s explaining the general in’s and out’s exhaustion, roles of different organs in sexual function, neurotransmitters, supplements etc.
Well my problem is premature ejaculation, or rather crippling premature ejaculation, brought on from over masturbation over the last 5 yrs or so. It’s severe enough that I feel I have to blow almost immediately upon insertion , my glans and head become ultra sensitive and I can feel my PC muscle contracting involuntary. The strange thing is that I might not even be hugely turned on but my penis just doesn’t want to know and wants it over with asap.
I signed up to Ejaculation Guru and it’s helped me out heaps. I recommend the guys take a look at it.
I also started supplementing to give me a little more edge: 1200mg Alpha GPC, 2 tsp fish oil, 3000 mg borage, 5 HTP & tyrosine.
