dunno if i mentioned this before, but insomnia is a bitch when dealing with AF

anyone tried a bowl of oats before sleep? a banana, cherries, almonds?

what were the results, are you willing to try it? oats work for me but make me bloated.. maybe i should try some avena sativa tincture have seen it at the drugstore still not tried it

supposedly helps your nervous system unwind.. maybe something for you sargonas, shell u willing to try this approach and report the results?

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here

Oats doesnt agree with my gut, I ate them for a few weeks and discovered that.

Anyway about insomnia, if you are refering to having trouble falling asleep, I am glad to tell you that I cured that aspect of my sleep problems earthing with the GIO. Now I am dealing with the other aspects of my severe sleep dysfunction, which are early waking/multiple waking and unrefreshing sleep (lack of deep sleep and unhealthy sleep architecture due to a lot of factors some of them covered in my tests like bad AF)

So now it takes 30 minutes -1 hour to fall asleep. Supposedky earthing deepens sleep, but I am not really feeling that. My sleep its better just because I dont fall asleep at 5 or 7 AM anymore, but still fucked. Now considering scientifically proven substances or treatments that can improve the sleep-wake cycles and quality of sleep. Cordyceps and Aswhagandha have both adrenal fatigue-supporting and sleep enhancing properties. I am worried because this would be just a shortcut since I am aluminum toxic and moar but it seems like another good step… While I figure out stuff and gain stability.

Soo I am giving this a go, eating before going to sleep. Gonna see those links when this headache dissapears. Yes I have tried avena tincture, I think it made my sleep a bit better? Stopped taking it, will start again. I was taking only oat tincture extract, but this seems quite appealing: http://www.add-care.com/products/parasympa-liquid.html Its interesting because Kava helps with sleep.

Some useful stuff I have found just now:

We gotta get into parasympathetic state and remain there for a while!

PD: I have so many posts in this forum that soon I will have more than the age we live in — 2013 XD

Sargonnas, i put it as a solution, iam already investigating it…and will buy soon.

Pimp,Insomania is indeed a state that overburns the adrenal juices, its on of the worse routine patterns that comes and goes during the year

I cant eat honestly before bed, unless it was light fruits and low in sugar …a yogurt.

Carbs, protein just put me on more alert, stress state, but sometimes i go sleepy if it was sugary…but not worth it specially when iam conscious about my insulin resistance.

I tried a 90 day of 5HTP for insomania, it works well but you will need to increase the dose and to maintain your sleeping time patterns.

One of the most solid things that works with me…granted

1- wake up early (without napping thru the day)

2- exercises 1-2 hours , between the noon and early night

    3-after 9 pm no mobiles,tv,net..fall asleep at 10-11.

I do feel sleepy and i do get a good 7 hours sleep.

Iam willing to try the cherries, pumpkin before sleep.

    my current supps before sleep

1 gram of glycine (aids in sleep, plus it help to retain gluthione levels)

    2-Magnesium citrate 400mg

    3-slow release Vitamin C 1 g

sleep is good, can get 4-6 hours in night

IMO 7 hours are not enough, but that might be because mine isnt deep enough, CFS-like. Yesterday arrived home after a LOT of walking (we got lost lol), had sardines, whole basmati rice and cherries for dinner. Went to bed at 1 AM and fall asleep inmediatly. Woke up at 8 AM. There seems to be some improvement with eating before sleep but I need to test again.

BTW im taking avena tincture again. It also boosts testosterone!

i am on 5htp indefinitely, but i don’t need to increase dosage.. i just take one cap of 50 mg i believe.. i notice a difference in being more rested

sugary meal is the culprit before bed.. eating before sleep lowers GH output and if sugary then insulin spike.. question is is it worth it if you really do get deeper sleep? will you feel better in the long run as your body’s more rested? tough to tell, only trial and error will

yeah no computer etc late in the evening which is difficult, and exercise earlier on in the day, or a lower impact exercise like hiking, which isn’t possible for everyone but in a gym you can find a good stepping machine which makes it seem as if you’re climbing up a hill or stairs.. twice as tough cardio as regular cardio

what did you notice on your previous avena trial?

do you get signs of it boosting your t?

the herbal properties are it nourishes your body and some suggest it could be good nervour system regeneration

i might give it a shot soon

edit: that tincture looks quite good thanks for the tip

Pimp, the reason why 5htp works is because it is a precursor to serotonin which converts to melatonin at night time. Your body needs the melatonin to sleep.

I think a lot of chronic masturbators would be low in serotonin levels. It may also have something to do with your cortisol levels. Generally your cortisol levels should be high in the morning then slowly decline throughout the day and you should be at your low point at night.

Yes but if you have homozigous MAO then 5htp could F*ck up your mind like it did for me.

Pimp, I think you are onto something with the carb meal before sleeping! Yesterday night I just drank a big glass of horchata before bed and i have worken up three times in 8 hours of sleeping. The night before I ate whole basmati rice, cherries and salmon and slept 7 hours without interruptions. This can be a nother piece of the puzzle of sleeping. It might be because of my very low levels of glucosteroids.

I noticed slightly better sleep and mood.

Ah I just read somewhere that it helps freeing testosterone from SHBG. However, for that nettle its the king.

damn that horchata drink looks damn good, gotta try it!

sounds good! if we just can get some sleep without worries then our cortisol levels will be that much better.. hope you can figure something out

Horchata its amazing, and especially if done with tiger nuts and water — nothing more! In that way its healthful.

for some , 5HT can raise cortisol thru one of it recopters.

i had some stress after taking it…but i upped the b6

sometimes when i have a poor sleep i avoid my b complex it makes me drowsy , i just take b2, b5 , biotin

could be from low b6 , it would be interesting to do the urine acid profile to detect b vitamins malabsorption.

for me, sugary/hi carb meal didnt give me solid results

iam looking into the earthing sheet, could be a good option.
