Actually, a labour intensive job is usually better at dissipating stress hormones & they are usually less mentally stressful.

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here

Welcome to the forum, and good luck with healing.

The reason why you see so many approaches and contradicting methods on this forum, is that each case is different. What works for one, may not work for the other. Some tests herbs, other diets etc…Each should find a own path and suitable methods to ensure maximal personal healing. It also changes with the same person, like due to hate/anger problem and possible stagnations in the body, I was not able to abstain from masturbation/ejaculation some time ago longer than one week, until I started to have inflammatory body ( although I was quite healed already back then ) but since I can easily go many weeks without ejaculation/masturbation.

I say the basic approaches right away, which should be good for everyone regardless of their own situation:

-eating well prepared versatile and tasty foods, in addition herbs and supplements might help the healing. Avoiding any excesses is beneficial ( like avoiding excessive sweets, alcohol, etc. )

-stopping the destructive practices, like over-masturbation/over-ejaculation. If you feel getting your health back while abstaining, why not continue it as long as possible. Also, listen to the own body. If you feel something makes you worse, then stop doing/taking it.

-avoiding excessive and hard training, or other means of putting high-stress on the body. It all depends on the person again.

-avoiding complex and negative emotional states, to make sure we do not make further harm/stagnations on the body due to feeding consciously negative emotions like anger etc. Meditation, stretching, massage etc. are all good.

-also. the own research is also big part of the healing.

It seems, you are capable of living quite normal life other than erection and you said you are happy, so I take that you do not have severe other problems than erection problems. Thats good.

Well, I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been concerned about my lower libido and weaker erections over the last 7 years, but I believe if I find the right answers, I can get back to where I was in my mid-20’s.

Much like “WiseEng” (I believe that’s the name) my erections are full, but they are flexible. They sway form side-to-side. That’s how they were when I started noticing my problem back in 2000. I don’t know if that means my prostate is functioning poorly or if that’s because of poor circulation or if I’m just not recharging fully.

When you all say “weak erections” what do you mean exactly? Maybe your idea of a weak erection is different than mine or someone elses. Are any of you totally impotent?

It’s interesting that some of you have digestive problems from overmasturbation. Are you sure it’s from that? I’ve never really had that problem. I’ve always been fairly regular. Food doesn’t really effect me negatively (that I know of). However, I have been trying to eat right over the past few years. I’ve dropped about 50 pounds since March of 2004 so if nothing else, I know that losing all that weight is great for my health. I’ve never had a problem with blood pressure. My bp is usually somewhere between 110-120/70-80. I think that’s pretty good. It’s funny though, no matter what my bp is when I check it on my own, it’s always 120/80 when I have it checked in a doctor’s office.

I do eat a lot of veggie burgers and I see a lot of negative feedback about soy products on this forum. However, Dr. Lin is always advocating soy, so again, I don’t know who to believe.

I haven’t started juicing, but I have started drinking V8 which is good for my vegatable intake. I’m sure it’s not nearly as good as juicing, but I’ve always had a hard time eating veggies, so you have to start somewhere. I love eating fruit, though, especially bananas and apples. What do you guys recommend in the fruit department? Are certain fruits better than others for this problem?

I see a lot of posts about magnesium on this forum. I’ve been taking calcium magnesium. Would that be beneficial in my recovery or is there another kind of magnesium I should be taking?

One last question: when a doctor checks your testosterone levels, is he checking things like DHEA or just testoterone? When he told me that “all the numbers were good” what did he mean?

Anyway, I’m encouraged that just by cutting back my maturbation frequency, I’ve already started to feel better physically. That’s a good sign I think. Hopefully, I’m on the road to recovery.

    Welcome Orange Julious.

I find more and more cases of sexual fatigue on the web last months.

    http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Urology/messages/32047.html

Is the number of cases increasing last years ?

The good point is more and more docs will be interesting by these cases.

the neuropathy looks interesting. maybe it can tell something about the nervous system. no mention of a saliva test for cortisol- secondary adrenal suffiencicy. its amazing how many doctors skip on this issue.

There are few forum talking about sexual exhaustion. But i saw many guys asking to doctors why they are exhausted. And the doc often answer : “i have never heard such a case”.

The prevalence of the problem is a mystery.
