Not sure if this has been covered or not. I have been researching A LOT.. not sure when I made this account, I’m sure at least a year ago, but I’ve been dealing with this shit for almost 4 years now.

I know some of you guys are onto methylation and I know you are right. Here’s what happens to your nitric oxide when you have methylation problems. Nitric oxide is the stuff in your body that makes your dick go.. HARD ON.

    Here’s the info:

    Quote:

Maybe this will seem like random information to some of you, but I will explain it here.

Basically, those who have methylation issues, there’s a 90% chance you have a mutation on the dna SNP called “CBS”. When CBS dna snp doesn’t work, you have toxic levels of ammonia in your blood, along with sulfites and sulfates.

Ammonia detoxification is handled by something called BH4. when you have excess amounts of ammonia, it takes 2 molecules of BH4 to take one molecule of ammonia out. Basically, your body is on overdrive using up all the BH4 massively.

When BH4 is being used up like this, Nitric Oxide Synthase (the enzyme responsible for turning l-argnine into nitric oxide) doesn’t work right. Instead, it turns your nitric oxide into free radicals, specically peroxynitrite and superoxide. (think your hair feeling like a pin is touching it, like a pain in your scalp, this is peroxynitrite/superoxide, if you have hair loss).

So you are low on nitric oxide and all your l-argnine is turning into free radicals. Then on top of that, your thyroid is going to be fucked up because you aren’t making glutathione (the master anti oxidant in your body, which binds to heavy metals and pulls them out), adn then your adrenals will be fucked up because of this, and then you have a whole host of problems.

Now this is only one mutation problem.. check out this website:

There’s a whole host of genetic issues that could be effecting the above. And it’s not as simple as just taking BH4 and you are fixed.

If you guys want to fix methylation issues, you need to kill sulfur in your diet so your system starts working again.

Read this site if you’re serious about methylation:

[MOD EDIT: URL Removed] Nitric Oxide Synthase

But it is not any simple process. Very complicated. I recommend you get 23andme and then find your genetic disorders, then go through taht site taking notes along the way, then ask questions over at phoenixrising.me forums about it.

Anyway, figured I’d chime in since that is the latest info I have found.

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here

Thats very right bryce and you have progressed a lot I see. I sent my 23andme a week or so ago. Results should be here in a month or two I am Beyond in Phoenix Rising.

Methylation its just part of the puzzle, but its really important. You have discovered its implications in erections, but did you know how deeply it affects mental disorders or how it actually regenerates nerves over time? I am very interested in how this will improve my anhedonia, depression, brain fog, agressivity-reactivity, social phobia and so on. One of my early experiments with a supplement called Methylguard made me become utterly insane one day, proving that methylation really affects the mind. I have never felt like that again.

    hey man,

yeah it definetely effects those systems. regarding nerves over time, i’m not sure. i know people with CFS seem to have some kind of issues with nerve loss or issues in the brain. i haven’t gotten that far. i’m mostly concerned with how to treat all this stuff. here’s a tidbit from the website on the CBS mutation and brain fog:

    Quote:

i used to get serious, serious social anxiety so i know its effected by this. or feel completely out of it. [/u][/i]

What about you getting 23andme, ? Its very cheap, the cheapest test you have payed for probably.

    #12902

    Vincenzo

Defientely with out doubt, but iam searching for a good doctor, and then i will do it…its useless to self-treat….since iam already out of that phase and looking into real expert to deal with the reports.

Iam in this limbo same as u , since iam already having issues with my 5IAA levels and couple of other problems in B2 and B5 and b12.

    Virgil

Good luck with that, I really hope you find someone who can help, but that will be probably harder than self treating because where you live. This stuff its certainty not easy, but if you have enough mutations it can explain everything, and can be treated following yasko simplified guidelines. The treatment its already expensive so the expert should be really worth it. Its a big part of the puzzle of chronic disease (at least our form) and for some the root cause. Not to mention that other areas than methylation can be explored in the results.

Btw my last test shows NO Hashimotos. I think I controlled it with diet, spiritualism/a positive outlook and juicing.

I mean, this test takes 2 months, maybe you could buy it right away and meanwhile look for someone.

    #12905

    William

Thats great, so then you may look into your old plan in supporting the glands, which you have already mentioned previous for adrenal and thyroid.

it could be that there was an inflammation, and now its lowered, or low immunity and now its strengthened, or a human error

but defienetley not something genetic or permanent

    Quote:

I need the someone shit, because he will handle the request since my country is not in their list

I have an access to Genovation genetic testing , but iam still reading and analyzing.

That looks like more expensive and less useful, I would try to get 23andme. Those tests are also insightful but with 23andme you get 750.000 SNP´s (genes), and some of these in your paper are included, some are not, definetely the methylation ones are not included in the genovation one. And it tells you from where are your ancestors and interesting trivia.

Hey if you decide to try this we can do it trough my place. I can buy it, send it to you and you send it back to me and then I send it to them. All in all, I am sure these genovation tests will remain more expensive. It can be revealing to have the genes of people with “SE” tested, to check for similarities.

    Patricia

Yeah, genova seems more expensive, the same for Yasoko tests seems more expensive than the rest.

Thanks for the offer Sargonnas, appreciate it.

Here is Yasoko general resources, very useful:

Too late! I have read that book months ago (more like skimmed trough it )

I will stress one more time that with 23andme you get thousands of health significative genes (from the 900.000 SNP´s only a few are studied), while with those more expensive tests you only get one or a few for a likely much higher price. I find the genes for the phase one and two of the liver interesting, and the same for others like the estrogen detoxification genes, but again some of these are in 23andme, and specifically it has a lot of the glutathione genes. So in any case I would get this one the first and later the others.

glad this is good info for you guys. this whole problem is such a nightmare.. the more knowledge we share and work on figuring this out.. the closer we get to being 100%

yeah 23andme makes it pretty easy. after you get your results, you just download your data and then plug it into this website: [MOD EDIT: URL Removed]

then you can use the heart fixer site to go into each issue you have one by one:

    [MOD EDIT: URL Removed]

If you’re going to find a doctor, maybe you should try to get someoen through http://www.heartfixer.com

I was actually considering calling them and having them make me up a protocol because they obviously know what they are doing based on what you read on their website there.

I used a doctor once for this stuff, but was disappointed in what was talked about. He basically said all the stuff that was on the forum/that heartfixer site. I didn’t know at the time, but I realize he gave me wrong information now after I’ve done a lot of research because he was telling me to take folate, but I didn’t even get my sulfate levels down in my body yet. The first step to fixing this is to fix your sulfate levels.

If you think you have these problems, you don’t have to wait. I’ve been following this diet here to get sulfate levels down:

    [MOD EDIT: URL Removed]

Also, I’m taking the recommended things from heartfixer on lowering sulfate levels as well.

You can know what your sulfate levels are by getting these:

    [MOD EDIT: URL Removed]

It costs $30, and your levels should be below 400. heartfixer says you can get them to 800 and stuff will start working. after having sulfate levels down for a month or so, the system should start kickstarting again. then you can address other issues. if it’s more, then you all ready know you have an issue here. the only way to treat it is to eat the low sulfur diet and take the other stuff as well.

Bryce, couldnt you be PathogenKiller on Phoenix Rising? That guy has some insight in this stuff!

I dont think I have CBS etc but who knows! If my test results say so I will buy the strips to see if its expressed.

wow dude i have been searching about the strange feeling in my hair for years now!! this is it. feels great to know what it is.

ALSO FEELS GREAT TO COME BACK TO MY SUPPORT GROUP BUDDIES.

bryce where is this stuff man…i mean i am ready to read everything and anything?

i will unfortunately not be able to get these tests done due to my country not having such heavy duty stuff at affordable prices so want to know as much as i can

No need. I have already outlined the course of action for my case. Watch the thread again [MOD EDIT: URL Removed]

Basically, , my hypothesis has been confirmed. I have several mutations that impair detoxification in the liver, brain and lungs, and a lot in the methylation cycle, one of them, the CBS C699T being especially troublesome.

From here, things can only go uphill.

wied that you didnt get any answer from the experts, but glad that you are already following the pathway, maybe you need to add a single supplement to improve the gluthione levels.

These people have CFS, give them a break haha Now seriously, its ironic that I encouraged a friend of mine to post his results and even told him how to write to get responses and he got a lot and now in my case I get one in three days lol but I dont actually need anybody!

    #12920

We’ve confirmed the problem. Have we found a solution? How can we prevent this from happening again? If we can find the cause, then we can find the solution, and also prevent it from happening again.
