    Okay,

I hate precum more than ever. I havent masturbated in a month…regular morning erections…feel I am improving (a bit). However, I still have precum 3-4 minutes into having sex. I’ve been taking cod liver, fish and borage oil for over 2 motnhs. I don’t know if I’ll ever beat this precum crap.

    Just venting

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here

if its not affecting your erection then its not something to worry about.

Well, if you want to have sex without a condom, wouldnt that bring about a problem?

well either take the oils for a longer peiod of time and wait and see how you fair. if it doesn’t work then try and change the oil combination you’re using.

and no Raven precum for some people is not an issue.

It seems me and you have the same issue shanny.

What cod liver oil are you taking?

I beleive this is the best one to take:

Have been taking it for 2 or 3 weeks and am starting to see the difference. It has liver oil and fish oil and its the strongest there is with the highest omega-3 content. It also contains sunflower and vegetable oils for omega-6, so it may be nessasary to ditch the borage oil since our diets contain plenty of omega-6 anyways.

We cant just rely on fish oil – our parasympathetic nervous system plays a role in precum secretion. I was maybe thinking of claiming depression and getting some anti-depressants on the NHS for a short term. Anti-depressants are also given for sufferers of premature ejaculation. We need to get our serotonin on the up and I hear 5-htp sucks, so whats a fella to do?

    Has anyone tried CraniYums?

anti-depressants are not the solution to our problems. as far as serotonin then there are loads of ways to increase it. 5-htp, l-tryptophan, coca powder, turkey breasts, valerian root, massage 2-3 times per week etc…. personally i think serotonin is one of those neurotransmitters that can be easily improved from basically diet, lifestyle and maybe 1 or 2 supplements.

Not all Omega-6’s are the same. Borage, Primrose for example are GLA’s and require very little conversion to get these to PGE1. Remember PGE1 (Alprostadil) that gets into your penis (from various delivery mechanisms) will cause an immediate erection!!! The problem is getting the PGE1 (which has a relatively short life) out of you system and into your penis. Lots of other cells will be competing for this Prostaglandin.

BTW – Omega-3 fights for position with Omega-6’s in its binding action.

The key to oil supplementation is balance. More info below.

Clinical studies[1][31][32] indicate that the ingested ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 (especially Linoleic vs Alpha Linolenic) fatty acids are important to maintaining cardiovascular health.

Both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are essential, i.e. humans must consume them in the diet. Omega-3 and omega-6 compete for the same metabolic enzymes, thus the omega-6:omega-3 ratio will significantly influence the ratio of the ensuing eicosanoids (hormones), (e.g. prostaglandins, leukotrienes, thromboxanes etc.), and will alter the body’s metabolic function. Metabolites of omega-6 are significantly more inflammatory (esp. arachidonic acid) than those of omega-3. This necessitates that omega-3 and omega-6 be consumed in a balanced proportion; the ideal ratio of omega-6:omega-3 being from 3:1 to 5:1. Studies suggest that the evolutionary human diet, rich in seafood, nuts and other sources of omega-3, may have provided such a ratio. [31]

Simopoulos, et al[33] recommend daily intakes of three omega-3 forms: 650 mg of EPA and DHA, and 2.22 g of ALA, and one omega-6 form: 4.44 g of LA. This translates to a 3:2 omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. (i.e. 1.5:1)

Typical Western diets provide ratios of between 10:1 and 30:1 – i.e., dramatically skewed toward omega-6. Here are the ratios of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in some common oils: canola 2:1, soybean 7:1, olive 13:1, sunflower (no omega-3), flax 1:3[34] cottonseed (almost no omega-3), peanut (no omega-3), grapeseed oil (almost no omega-3) and corn oil 46 to 1 ratio of omega-6s to omega-3s. [35]

There are currently nine known receptors of prostaglandins on various cell types. Prostaglandins ligate a subfamily of cell surface seven-transmembrane receptors, G-protein-coupled receptors. These receptors are termed DP1-2, EP1-4, FP, IP, and TP, corresponding to the receptor that ligates the corresponding prostaglandin (e.g., DP1-2 receptors bind to PGD2). Prostaglandins thus act on a variety of cells such as vascular smooth muscle cells causing constriction or dilation, on platelets causing aggregation or disaggregation and on spinal neurons causing pain. Prostaglandins have a wide variety of actions, including, but not limited to muscular constriction and mediate inflammation. Other effects include calcium movement, hormone regulation and cell growth control. Thromboxane is created in platelets and causes vascular constriction and platelet aggregation. Prostacyclin comes from cells in the blood vessel walls and is antagonistic to thromboxane.

Prostaglandins are potent but have a short half-life before being inactivated and excreted. Therefore, they exert only a paracrine (locally active) or autocrine (acting on the same cell from which it is synthesized) function.

    Dr Ron is a bender!

Anyways EditMan ~ im slightly confused. I understand GLA is the best for PGE-1 conversion – but what I dont get is this balance thing…

Generally I thought since we have crap fatty diets our PGE-1 would be more than sufficient. My plan was to leave out borage oil and just go for cod liver oil to knock down PGE-2. I was hoping for a high/average in PGE-1 and a low in PGE-2. Surely I wouldnt need borage oil to produce more PGE-1? I thought studies had shown we have too much.

No unfortunately PGE1 is being utilized by many other organs (if you had lots of PGE1 getting to your penis – I guarantee you will be running around with an erection all day.)

I agree our diets are full of the bad Omega 6 and 9 oils between vegetable and animal fats. Unfotunately, some of us are

deficient in the amount of D6D enzyme required to convert these bad oils succesfully to PGE1. Remember if it is not converted you end up having fatty adipose tissue deposits. ie. You eat too many carbs with fats, you are likely to get FAT!!

Omega 3 which you should get from non fish sources ie. Flax also requires the D6D enzyme.

My point is we need to carefully balance the fat intake from the various Omega sources. Diet is critical to the sucess of any fat supplementation.

Try this simple experiment. Make sure you have a light dinner with low fat. Right before going to bed – Take ~2400mg of Borage Oil, and 1000mg of pure MSM. Use the postage stamp test (or something simlar that will break when you have an erection). When you wake (or sometimes your erection will wake you) see if the stamp band is broken. I’m willing to bet in 90%+ of the case, you will be able to get enough PGE1 into your penis to create a strong erection.

So you suggest borage/primrose/blackcurrant oil for its GLA content? Anything else containing omega-6 generally has a longer and much poorer conversion inside the body ~ is that right?

By the way – what is MSM?

    #5679

    Jc

if your eating raw eggs i wouldnt take MSM

MSM to aid in erections? I have this product that contains glucosamine, chondoritin, and MSM but its for joints…Could this actually help with erections?

wow so whats the deal then? Would this product that I have(havent taken it yet) with glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM affect my sexual function negatively?
