Please post your diets and an estimate of proteins/carbs/fats you get in along with age/height etc…

Curious what everyone follows here and what they find effective

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here

yo check it out …. so when all this shit started i was 189 pounds and probably like 17 percent body fat and in probably some of the best shape in my life. This is like april to may 2010.

Fast forward to january 2011 im 220 pounds , slight insulin resistance look terrible. Shows what inactivity and eating whatever you want can do to you in such a short period of time when your hypothyroid.

Ok so that was around the time I saw mariano. and I was like aight F*ck that no way i need insulin resistance on top of everything else im dealing with . So i totally switched my diet to a shitload of meat and only vegtables. Literally no bread, pasta, potatoes nothing. I eat a shitload of eggs, steak, chicken, fish, brocoli , salad, etc. Those are the staples of my diet. I eat as much as I want from those food groups.

fast forward to today. Im 180 pounds……….I lost 40 pounds in 3 and half months with my only exercise being daily hour long walks. shit is bananas I literally weighed mysefl yesterday and was like wtfffffffff. Im so much thinner its ridicolous all my jeans are hanging off my ass.

Also once you get used to that kinda diet its fucking awesome. I like the way it makes me feel alot I have more energy which is weird .

Once I fix all my hormones and can finally start lifting again im def gona continue incorperating it.

you need to get chromium picolonate 200mcg, sleneium 200mcg, Magnesium (250-400 mg) , Zinc 20-30 mg , Alpha Lipoic Acid 200-400 mg

and I think choline is good to increase the cells sensitivity… add some strong antioxident and see what it can do, as for the articels i have red for Chillin he mentioned that the Green Tea is powerful in increasing the cells sensitivity…but get the one that contains alot of ECGG and Polyphenols.( i have tried it, and it didnt affect me alot maybe because i was low in Vit D and Magnesium)

and not to mention pulling our high stress hormones down (cortisol Mainly)

Can I know your Insulin Reading and fasting Gluocose???

    Pimp

I estimate My diet to Have the following..its an assumption

    *Protein : 40-50 g

*Fat : 20-35 grams (include the oils i consume)

*Sugar : 20-30 grams ( from fruits , dates …i reduced alot my white sugar since iam also an insulin resistent)

As for carbs…iam not into white bread alot all what i consume i small portion of brown rice or whole meal bread (2-4 slices) [ iam also aware that more cards more inslin trouble]

    Iam at 2 meals a day… sometimes i eat 3

I noticed something, when ever i fast ( for religious purpose) i found i have a great boost in absorption and i feel more vital, i think its related to let your body gets rid of what it stores and then replenish it with small amounts

yeah fasting is a good way to heal. but for SE i dont know. I tried to fast when i had SE but it didn’t work out to well on the first day of fasting. I had headaches.

Do you think fasting could help heal SE?

    #14124

    Vernon

I think it may help to some extent , may help others and may make others feel worse

your heache could be from low electrolytes ( in my religion i cut eating/drinking from the dawn till the sunset which is almost 10-12 hours)

i notice that when i drink a lot of water the day before fasting then i dont suffer from headaches liver pain or problems in urinating

and if i drank a low amount of water the day before, problems occur

thing i noticed with fasting : the legs pain ease , more clear mind , energy start to burst the more you workmove

I eat the following almost everyday

    – eggs on olive oil. Only times I don’t eat them is when I;m too lazy to cook em.

    – grains: consists of whole grain bread everyday. Oats rarely. My grandma makes buckwheat all the time, I eat it often. and I eat potatoes often. Sometimes I fry em on olive oil.

    – meat: any meat that’s around the house – chicken, pork, beef w/e. I eat a meat with almost every meal. Most of all chicken. I used to eat tuna and salmon often before but not feeling it recently. I eat them once in a while now.. salmon is good stuff.

    – dairy – I try to eat only yogurt once a day to get probiotics. No other dairy.

    – vegetables – salads with olive oil when I can.. but I;m obviously lazy to make them.. so just eat random vegetables all the time.. tomato, cucumber, celery, anything..

    – fruits: any 2 or 3 fruits. Usually oranges, banana, apple, kiwi..

nuts – eat them everyday when I got them around the house. Preferably almonds, hazelnuts, cashews… but right now only got walnuts around the house so eat them once in a while.

When I dont have time I’ll eat a granola bar or something. I eat very little sugar – only from fruits or fruit juices.

When I go out I’ll get wings, nachos, whatever.. junk doesn’t necessarily make me feel worse I just prefer to eat healthier.

When I’m high and have the munchies sometimes I pig out and get chips and chocolate.. but I learned to control that already.

    So protein I’d say 75-125 grams a day. Carbs – maybe 120-200 g. Fats – maybe 50-100 g.

So I been eating less than 2000 cals a day lately.. but I also stopped working out and don’t move much so it’s alright.

Or you can fix the real cause of your insulin resistance which is your hypothyroidism. Those supps are only a little helpful. Do some searches on insulin resistance and hypothyroid .

My numbers vary alot sometimes my fasting glucose is 88 sometimes its 105

But my post meal numbers are the main concern because though the high protein low carb diet keeps me under 140 most of the time it takes my body a long time time to get below 100.

    Healthy males have these numbers

1 hour post meal below 120

2 hours post meal below 100

Mine take a while to get there.

of course, iam hypo too..but fixing my tsh and pulling my t4 levels and t3 levels up didnt did alot

your levels are quit good and it show that you can fix your self quickly, i tend to belive that those supplements are essential and when i taken them i have seen improvment in fasting glucose where it was between 107-115

and now its more in 103-104 and sometimes 100

also Js, try to see your levels directly after a meal, a good response shows a 150-190

a bad one shows 200 and above

A huge overlooked thyroid problem is Rt3. My free T3 and Free T4 are good to but my RT3 is horrible. Do some searches and high RT3 has been directyl linked to insulin resistance.

Those ranges you listed are very outdated and based on the american diabetic association. There the same kinda people that advocate eating a low fat high carb diet for diabeties.

Any blood sugar over 140 is damaging to your body.

The only reason im able to maintain my blood sugar below 140 is cuse I do not eat carbs. You sould really eliminate all fruits and even rice dude thats all turns into sugar as well.

Im telling you…..high fat high protein is the way to go. and ofcoruse fix your hormones or your fightin a losing battle

Also I cant find it but Dr. mariano states several times how diabities is almost impossible to find in people with good working thyroid.

Also after you read those do some searches on how testosterone increases insulin sensitivety.

If you want to not be a type 2 diabetic……you have to fix your thyroid, fix your testosterone and completly eliminate all those carbs until you have reversed the condition. ALso starting weight trainin would be super beneficial as well .

    Thanks for the links

i cant agree any more, but you know what this led me too… I have red an article long time ago about how to reduce RT3,

it tells you that you need to take Vitamin D, Magnesium , B’s Vitamin (specially b6) , Calcium ,Selenium ( the most importent) , Iron , Zinc

so its interrealted, these nutrients are needed for hypothyroidsm

alot of it may be damaging but right quantities is advised

your playing with fire shell. I know all those things help thyroid. But I have seen maybe 1 case where fixing all those imbalances actually fixed high Rt3. the only sure fire thing that works is a T3 only protocol. That however raises your SHBG so you would need high total t before starting.

I mean obviously your gona do what your gona do but im just saying you still have a window of opurtunity if you act now. In a few years that may be gone and no matter what you do your gona be a type 2 diabetic. Once your type 2 you can forget about sexual exhaustion and all that.

i posted this thread because i had an insane reaction from a high amount of pork fat i ate the other day and a couple days later had the same effects

i was wondering if there were ppl here who have increased their saturated fat intake and felt better wood?

if so please post your experiences

i took a bunch of bacon slices and it helped me out again

can all of you guys who chimed in calculate with a calorie counter how much sat fats they are getting in daily from a typical day’s diet?

i am researching this shit and it works for me, so now i need to trial this for a couple weeks and need more ideas for a nice diet

today i ate a full fat cream type of yoghurt and 12 slices of bacon and 2 whole eggs (eggs 2 i normally eat in the morning)

don’t forget carbs either if you’re underweight you need this shit as well and it is also needed for proper thyroid function although not in as high quantities as you might think

js, how’s the wood on your diet? better?

    #14134

    Lindsay

my woods about the same but i think a high fat diet even saturated fat is good. Its ridicolous how retarted the food pyramid is.

There are some nights that if I eat a big steak ill get decent wood during the night but its sorta inconsistent.

    cant say for sure.

    #14135

    Joan

Pimp, by wood do you mean that it gets rid of your ED? or that you just have MORE spontaneous erections and better S*x drive?

I don’t really have ED so no matter what I eat erection strength will be roughly same.

As far as S*x drive.. mine’s been pretty bad no matter what I eat. I can probably eat the greatest diet but my messed up hormones will still keep S*x drive low.

If eating alota sat fat helps you though, then stick to that. Different people need diff amounts of macro nutrients so you gotta find what works for you. If I were you I’d keep eating high sat fat.. just measure your cholesterol once in a while to see its not rising. Fat and cholest get turned into prostaglandins so it makes sense that it helps you.

For me I already know I have constant inflammation stemming from liver no matter what I eat, so I need to take care of liver first.. and then experiment with diet.

    #14136

    Wesley

what i mean is that if i do get wood on cialis/viagra and it’s bad which is possible due to low thyroid and what not, that it shines like a hard cock which is pretty unusual given the circumstances

i understand the need to measure cholesterol which i will do if i choose to stick with this kinda diet

choose something which works for you, and stick with it, try it for a month or two and if no results, look for something else
