Hi all, I am new to the site, but I’ve been reading it a lot. It’s a bummer to hear about other people dealing with these problems, but I am confident recovery is possible, I am already about 10 times better than I used to be. Much of what is said on this site is all correct, get rid of porn, avoid processed foods, get good sleep at night, etc.

I am increasingly thinking that our problem is mainly one of prostate health. Consider this:

“Prostatitis involves inflammation in the three to four dozen “acini,” the pouchlike reservoirs that hold prostatic fluid, which helps carry sperm during ejaculation. The acini’s openings can become obstructed and incapable of emptying properly during ejaculation, leading to a painful buildup of fluid and interfering with urination and sexual functioning. ”

I also found a website that seems to have a lot of information about prostate health…it covers a lot of things that have been talked about on this site. (like sitz baths) None the less, it seems like a lot of helpful information in one place:

Check out the “immediate pain relief” section, also the “miracle prostate exercise.”

A also got overmyself and tried a prostate massager. (the aneros) I have no experience sticking things up my ass, so it was wierd. Felt kind of good after a while though, not miraculous. The exercise of it is supposed to be good for you. (you operate it just by contracting your ass and relaxing it.)

I also recommend trying the male deer exercise, not much too it except your try to relax and and pull the outside of your sphincter in. Also, try pilates to help strengthen your core to take the weight off of the prostate.

    Good luck

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here
