Hello. I’m 23 and have over indulged since I was 14 or so. My main question is this. If I am recovering and am able to not have any kind of sex, for like 2 weeks say, and then I ejaculate automatically in my sleep, how disruptive is it to the healing process? There have been a few times when I have been doing and feeling great but then had my momentum smashed because my inhibitions are much lower when I’m asleep. Also, does sexual exhaustion damage the body beyond repair? I cannot remember the last time a day when by when my groin didn’t hurt and may have even had an unnecessary hernia surgery because my doctor didn’t consider this as an option. I’ve read around the forums here and read a few references to the bodies healing process referred to as energy. Would this energy take longer to balance itself than the body does? Also I read that it can take as long as a year or two. Is this really the case and how would you know if your that badly damaged? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

There is another way that you can stop porn addiction, chronic masturbation and recover your sexual health without fighting it with willpower. With the right mindset you won't even relapse. You can learn more about the recovery program here
