    Day 5 of abstinence

    Thanks for the tip on the bike seat. I’ve been meaning to do that.

    I got a few lab results from Kaiser:

    TSH – Thyroid Stimulating Hormone – 1.1 uIU/mL

    Testosterone, Total – 856 ng/dL

    Prolactin – 9 ng/dL

    I’m surprised my testosterone was actually pretty high.

    Staying strong despite some serious temptation around day 6 and 7.

    I’m wasting my time on the internet more I think to make up for the release of masturbation. I want to cut back on the internet use because it does make me feel lousy after too much use.

    I’ve noticed I’m getting morning erections again and just fantasizing in my head can bring about erections sometimes. Seems promising!

    Day 27

    Well, I thought this was going to be smooth sailing a couple weeks ago but now I’m not so sure.

    I had a girl over a week ago and I didn’t get hard. Frustrating. She went down on me and I was able to get hard and orgasm but we tried a lot before that and the morning after and I just wouldn’t get hard. I guess I can get an erection through oral sex but if I had tried to have intercourse I think it would have gone away.

    I’m wondering how much of this is psychological. I don’t think all of it is but is some of it? When I’m with assertive, sexually comfortable and experienced women I’m often more nervous than when I’m with someone shy who wants me to go slow and lets me move the pace. There’s some assertive girls who just grab my dick and then I feel embarassed that I’m not hard yet.

    Also, my body temperature is usually 97.2 degrees and my feet, hands, and genitals are often cold. What can I do to raise my temperature? Doctors have told me not to worry about it but I’m skeptical.

    I just wanted to tell you that viagra/cialis + alpha blockers are strongly not recommended. I was told by a good doctor that they dilate the genitals in an unnatural way and will not help in the long run. It’s actually more complex then that as Viagra plays with some hormonal chemistry and makes it even worse then just alpha blockers. I’m sure it’s not terrible, like you had to do when the girl was over, I probably would’ve done the same, but try to avoid it in the future.

    Also after having sex, don’t go for round 2! And don;t even do it the next morning. Even if you go at it without ejaculating it’s still not recommended but god forbid don;t ejaculate. Your prolactin and inflamatory prostaglandins will shoot up and you’re 30 days of effort might go to waste.
