Zinc citrate? Zinc gluconate or Zinc Sulphate?

    Any idea folk?

actually Zinc arginate is the best source of this antioxidant. but out of those 3 i would be inclined to choose Zinc citrate. If you look at the ZMA products you will find Zinc in the form of monomethionine and aspartate

Yes citrate is the one I have been using, between 45mg and 60mg per

day and it’s done absolute wonders, no doubt about it in my mind!

I take 3-4 15mg tablets per day so wonder what the actual bioavailable zinc I actually take in?

I’ve heard that Zinc Gluconate is good too but never tried it. you’re taking it alone i believe.

what’s the effect of ZMA on copper levels? they antagonize each other yet i’ve never seen copper in the ZMA i have from Now Foods.

I have been taking this amount of zinc with fish/cod/oil and some saw palmetto.

Truly my erections are raging the last two weeks, just got to be careful not to overdo things.

I’m 44 and they are at a level when I was 14, seriously hard!

that depends on the source of the copper. Zinc arginate doesn’t affect copper absroption at all. second is I believe Zinc citrate then Zinc Gluconate.

Saw palmetto? I know thats for the prostate but what does it do for erections? I heard that it lowers DHT levels, which lowers test or decreases erections

Hey Stinger…I thought I was the oldest guy here at 40. I’m sure you’ve gotten the old “it’s not uncommon for someone your age” too

goes to show you how something as simple as the source of the stuff can make a big difference.

You are right. I am on the hunt trying to find additive free supplements that are close to Dr.Wilsons (B-complex, Vit-C, etc.). I am getting close. I’ll post what I come up with when I’m done. It should be WAY cheaper as well.

It’s amazing how much time this takes to research and continually learn. But it sure is great to share information so no one person has to do it all.

yeah personally i get powder form for a lot of things. I visited a health food store today and i could only find one or two supplement brands that did not have magnesium stearate in them. I just don’t understand why this additive (or lubricant apparently) is so popular that it has to be in every brand. maybe its just cheaper for those companies. otherwise it doesn’t have any health benefit that justifies it being a consistent ingredient.

I think Dr. Ron describes the reasons quite well. Pure profit. It is a lubricant that keeps the products from sticking to conveyors and chutes so that machines don’t plug and production lines do not have to stop to unplug things.
